Last updated: June 2026. This policy explains what personal data FilingPro Chennai collects when you contact us or post on filingprochennai.com, how and why we use it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. Who we are (Data Fiduciary)

2. What we collect
- When you submit an enquiry / lead form: your name, mobile number, email (if given), the service and area you mention, your message, and basic technical data (IP address, browser) used to prevent spam.
- When you post a comment or community question: your name, mobile number, email, the message itself, and the same basic technical data.
We collect only what is needed for the purpose you contacted us about. We do not knowingly collect special-category or financial-account data through this website.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box and submit a form, for these purposes only: to respond to your enquiry, to review and moderate posts before publishing, to reply to your questions, and to prevent abuse (including blocking repeat offenders). Your mobile number and email are never displayed publicly on the site. We do not use your data for automated advertising profiling, and we do not sell or rent it.
4. Storage, security & sharing
Data is stored on our hosting server with direct web access to the data files blocked, and the site is served over HTTPS. We apply reasonable security safeguards to protect it. We share it only with our hosting/communication service providers as needed to operate the site, or where disclosure is required by law. We do not transfer it outside India except via such service providers.
5. How long we keep it (Retention)
We keep enquiry and posting data only as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal/record-keeping obligations — ordinarily up to 24 months from your last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If you ask us to erase it sooner, we will (subject to any law that requires us to retain it).
6. Your rights (Data Principal rights under the DPDP Act)
You have the right to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed; correct or update it; erase it; withdraw your consent at any time (as easily as you gave it); nominate another person to exercise these rights in case of death or incapacity; and grievance redressal. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer respond to your enquiry.
7. How to exercise your rights / withdraw consent
